Rhyme and Cheese

To encourage young writers, the Glebe PTA works with our school’s reading specialists to host at least two Rhyme and Cheese Nights each year. These events will be scheduled soon.

Rhyme and Cheese Night gives students of all ages the opportunity to read a piece of their own writing (a poem, a story, a personal narrative, etc.) in front of parents, friends, and fellow students during an evening event at Glebe.

We encourage all students who are interested in participating to enter the lottery. Up to 30 students will be selected to read their composition.

A form will be available in the front lobby of the school and online when the lottery opens for the next event. Students should enter only one time. Lottery winners will receive a confirmation email.

If you have any questions, please email the Rhyme and Cheese coordinators, Julie Madison (email) or Frances McLaughlin (email).
